Day 2 - Meeting the Girls!

This morning was another early start - but a much more lively one! We started the morning with a quick meeting for the day and then split up to work on our different roles before our much anticipated first meeting with the Nairobi girls. After a quick breakfast, we were off to the university.

The afternoon was spent getting to know each other, making plans and creating workshop materials for the first school visit on Monday. It was great to learn more about the culture here and gain an offer of a market tour. The project is really taking off now, and it’s nice to know the hard work has paid off. I’m feeling very postive for the weeks to come; the girls were so welcoming and kind that it would be hard to feel anything else! Signing off now a well-earned dinner.
