Another successful day! We've now reached over 2500 children. We started the day with some workshop preparations - cutting up hands and bundling up straws. Today's destination was Bidii primary school which is located in one of Nairobi's most populated areas. We were excited and slightly scared as we waited for the number of children we would be taking on. The school had 232 pupils in year eight alone so we decided to focus on them as they are slightly older and had more to gain from it.

We split off into our pairs and began the workshops. The children were very lively today and engaged well with our material. It's good to see the technical questions they came up with as it really shows us they are taking it in. We then had lunch with the staff, another tradinational Kenyan meal. It's been great to explore the different foods here and the schools have all been so welcoming and kind. I think one of the main things I will take away from this project is how important it is to show kindness and respect to those around me.

After we headed home we had a debrief meeting then set off to our various tasks. I spent the afternoon sorting through feedback forms and computing the data. It's really great to be able to see the impact we are having on the children and learn what we can improve on. Seeing all their comments is really uplifting especially as we move on to these final days and people are beginning to be wear out. I'm off to get an early night now as hill await us tomorrow!
